We are 30 to 50 enthusiastic musicians on any given Tuesday night...

...and you are welcome to join us, preferably with a ukulele , though other instruments are welcome.

Why

Learning the ukulele is fun and a beginner-friendly way to explore music, and joining a group like ours lets you practice in a supportive social setting while improving your skills and getting tips from both other beginners and more experienced players.

When

Tuesday nights, 7pm - 9pm, with a break at 8pm for a drink and a chat. The first Tuesday of each month is Open Mic night - a great way to build your performance confidence and skills!

Where

The Cashmere Club, 50 Colombo Street and 88 Hunter Terrace, usually in the Garden Bar, along the entry corridor and turn left.

Let's Jam!

When you arrive, register at the door ( $2 koha to cover costs), grab any free seat and introduce yourself to those around you. Alternately, arrive early for a meal - check out the Cashmere Club Menu.

We have a few "loaner" songbooks for visitors and you can purchase your own copy when you are ready. Or you can access our Songs online while jamming, with a tablet or laptop and a data plan. Or download the songbook to a tablet or laptop. See the Library page for more details.

The music leader will commence with a couple of songs then call, usually alphabetically by first name, for requests from the songbook.
